Dennis E. Anderson, 76 passed away Friday May 26, 2017 in Merritt Island, Florida

Born August 3, 1940 in Fairview Park, Ohio, he was the son of the late William (Chet) and Theresa Anderson

Mr. Anderson attended Bay Village High School, Bay Village, Ohio, and then served in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He later owned and operated Custom Pest Services in Merritt Island until his retirement in 2015. In his spare time he was an avid golfer and served as the Caddy Master for the annual Arnold Palmer Golf Classic tournament at Bay Hill Club, Orlando for 28 years. He also served as Worshipful Master of the former Cocoa Masonic Lodge #113

He is survived by his son Robert E. and granddaughter Tiffany Anderson, brothers William (Buddy) and wife Laura of Altamonte Springs, FL, Curt and wife Diana of Apopka, FL, sister Marilyn Martin and husband Don of Apopka, FL and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by step daughter Elizabeth Ryan of Matthews, NC, and former wife and significant friend of 43 years, Dorothy Anderson of Cocoa, FL.

There will be a celebration of Dennis's life on Sunday June 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center 400 S. Sykes Creek Pkwy. Merritt Island, FL 32952
