Deborah 'Debbie' Henderson, age 69, passed away on Friday February 5, 2021 after many years courageously battling Endometrial Cancer. Debbie was born on July 29, 1951 in The Bronx, NY to Arthur & Theresa D'Angelo. She married her longtime friend and love, Joseph M. Henderson on October 15, 1977.

Debbie attended Berkeley/Claremont Business School and began her career working in advertising in New York City. She loved reminiscing on those times and told wonderful stories of those memories. After she and Joe married and had the girls, the family moved to Winter Park, Florida. She began teaching pre-school, first at St. Margaret Mary's Mother's Day Out program and then finished her teaching at Maitland's Presbyterian Pre-School. Debbie adored children and her love and dedication to teaching was apparent in the many students that remembered her for years to come after they graduated from her classrooms.

Above all Debbie was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. No one would walk into her home without being offered a delicious meal. She always put others before herself and worried how her family was doing and how she could help them. Debbie had so many friends in both New York and Florida, and many helped support and encourage her during her cancer battles. She was enamored with her grandsons that called her "Momma," and loved spending every moment she was able to with them.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Joe, daughters Marissa & Julianne and her son-in-law Fred Eppleman along with her grandsons that she adored: Sawyer, Noah & Weston. Her brother, Arthur Jr. and wife Patricia D'Angelo along with her nephews Arthur III, Andrew (Stephanie, Jaxon and Sophia) and Nicholas. Debbie is also survived by three brother-in-law's, Thomas and wife Eileen, Daniel and wife Judy, William and wife Marilyn along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

Debbie's Funeral Service will be Friday March 5th at 12:00pm at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church located at 526 N. Park Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789. A lunch reception will follow at Hilton Garden Inn Winter Park located at 1275 Lee Road, Winter Park, FL 32789. The family will receive flowers at the reception location.
