Debi Caniff, 65, of orlando, Florida passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018. She was born October 21, 1953 in Steubenville, Ohio to Bernard and Ann "Sturgevic" Caniff.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard.
She is survived by her sisters: Cindy Caniff, Bernice Coulter, and Shannon (David) Heimburg; brother, Bryan Caniff; step-mother, Sally DiNovo; Nieces: Vanessa Coulter and O.J. Meeks, and Barbie Coulter; Nephew, Kenny Coulter; great-nephew, Gabriel Coulter.
Debi enjoyed traveling, hiking, camping, canoeing, and white water rafting with her friends. When at home she enjoyed gardening. She lead a very fulfilling life. Always the optimist. Doing what she enjoyed. Grateful for the wonderful life she was given.
Debi stood up for what she believed in. She was a member of NOW and fought for Planned Parenthood. She was a lifelong advocate for Women's Rights, Human Rights and saving the environment. She was active in politics and fought against 45 and the white supremacists in the White House until she could no longer type, talk or walk. She fought until the end to save the world from 45 and his followers.
She worked as a Project Accountant for PCL Construction before her retirement in 2006. Before retirement she was a member of NAWIC.
