In the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family, Dave peacefully went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2020. He is survived by his wife, the love his of life of 57 years, Betty, daughter Cheryl, son Chris, daughter in-law Nicole, and grandsons Sim, Grant and Xavien. Dave was a loving husband, father, Papa and friend to everyone.

Dave worked hard his entire life to care and provide for his family. In 1992 he founded Excel Auto Body in Maitland, FL. He often remarked how he thought he wasn't the most educated man, but if you knew Dave there was no doubt that he could create, fix or build anything. He was always there to help relatives and friends with projects and anyone who needed a helping hand. He loved traveling the country with Betty and friends from the Florida Airstream Club 027. Most of all, Dave loved his family and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

A celebration of Dave's life will be held at First Alliance Church, 3800 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, Florida on Thursday, February 13, 2020 beginning at 11 a.m.
