DAVID BRYAN SMITH, 53, of Orlando Florida, our beloved father and brother passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014. David was born on March 29, 1961 in Winter Park, Florida. He is survived by his two sons, Alex, and Wesley, sister, Susie Mayo (Gil), brothers, Tom (Connie), Steven (Maryann), Michael (Cheri) and several nieces and nephews. He was the son of Edgar James and Virginia Marie Smith whom preceded him in death.

David, a 1979 Colonial High School graduate, owned his own lawn and landscaping business, but his passion was designing and building skateboards. He loved working with his boys in his workshop, every day to make those one of a kind boards.
He, like our mother, never met a stranger and would always go out of his way to help anyone in need. Those that knew and loved David will miss him and his kindness!

We love and will miss you…our dear Father and sweet Brother!

The family is planning a Celebration of Life BBQ gathering to honor and remember David at a later time. Expressions of sympathy may be made to UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health, to honor his brother Tom, in the name of David Smith.
