David "Dave" Franklin Robinson, age 76, passed away peacefully following 5 years of living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Clermont, Florida.

Dave was born in 1949, in Connecticut, to John T. and Elizabeth Robinson. He was the third of four children and grew up in New Haven, Connecticut.

Dave attended Pomfret Preparatory School, graduating in 1968, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from the University of Denver in 1972. An active and adventurous spirit, Dave loved skiing, tennis, running, golf, and biking.

Dave met his wife, Marilyn, in Washington, D.C. while working in the restaurant business. They were married for 42 years. In 1985, Dave changed career paths and entered the mortgage banking industry, where he enjoyed a successful career until his retirement in 2017. Over the years, his career took the family to North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Florida, where they formed many lasting friendships.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother, John.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Robinson; his daughter Elizabeth "Lisa" Robinson and her partner Mike Marsicano; his son Justin Robinson (Angela) and their child Luca; his daughter Lauren Robinson-Noonan (Greg); his brother Donald "Don" Robinson and his children; and his sister Annie (Robinson) Murphy (Ned), along with their children and grandchildren.

Per Dave's request, there will be no formal memorial service.
