David Vincent Riester, 70, passed away in Orlando, FL on January 17, 2015. He was born on September 15, l944 in Buffalo, NY and was raised there. He was the son of the late John B. Riester, Jr. and Rose (Stender) Riester.

Dave was honorably discharged from the Army in 1968. After relocating to Orlando, he owned an air-conditioning/heating business. In 1979 he married Elizabeth "Liz" Bloom, who predeceased him in 2006. His interests included working as a ham radio operator in disaster relief efforts, boating on the St. John's River, and riding his motorcycle.

Dave is survived by his sister, Nanette (Donald) Lisk of Ithaca, NY; nieces Sue Lisk of Silver Spring, MD; Marion (Bryan) French of Conesus, NY; Eileen (David Long) Lisk of St. Petersburg, FL; nephew Tom (Robin) Lisk of Bellingham, WA; and extended family and friends.
