On October 12, 2018 at 4:55 pm Joe (David Jerome) Hudgins of Casselberry, FL went to be with his Lord after a long struggle with Parkinson Disease. He was preceeded in death by his parents Charles and Barbara Hudgins of Brevard NC, and is survived by his daughter Karena Shay Hudgins and grandson Addison Chaknis of Casselberry, Fl. One sister Glenda Hudgins Lawson and her husband Bob Lawson of Brevard NC, nephews Ron Buell and wife Kristie of Pisgah Forest, NC; Greg Buell and wife Sherri and children from Buford, GA; niece Christa Downing and children of Lawrenceville, GA.

Joe grew up in Pisgah Forest, NC and attended Brevard High School and Brevard College. After attending Chapel Hill College in Winston Salem NC, he was encourage by a childhood friend to apply at Walt Disney World for a position in Fort Wilderness as a campfire sing along leader and the legacy begins. He worked for Disney for 33 years as a top performer in many different roles that were created for him. He was best known as a member of the Dapper Dans Barbershop Quartet.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Winter Garden First Baptist Church October 20th at 4:00 pm with a Visitation with the family starting at 3:00 pm. Pastor Paul Gordan officiating.
