Hodge, David Lee, 41, Maitland, FL, passed away January 24, 2016. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and valued teacher. He was faith-filled, and his faith sustained him during his short, yet very difficult battle with brain cancer. David obtained his BSN from Lenoir-Rhyne University and his graduate degree from UNC Charlotte as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). He practiced his profession at Orlando Health with Wolverine Team Health and was an Adjunct Faculty Clinical Coordinator with Barry University, School of Anesthesia. David is survived by his loving wife Michelle Covelli-Hodge; his two sons, Ethan and Zachary Hodge; his father Dale Hodge; and his sister, Carmen Hughes. He is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Hodge. A Wake Service will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 from 7:00- 9:00 p.m., and a Catholic Mass will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11a.m, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Winter Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Peacock Fund through St. Margaret Mary Catholic School to assist families facing difficult times due to illness of a family member, 142 E.
