David W. Burgett passed away after a sudden illness on August 31. Born February 5, 1984, he brought joy and delight to his parents as they watched him grow into a child with expressive blue eyes and a mischievous grin. He will be remembered for his affectionate nature and adventurous spirit as he strived to connect to the world in a positive and loving way. He searched
for a sense of belonging and accomplishment whether playing Little League baseball as a child
or working in the sales industry as he matured into adulthood. David had a passion for life and
was willing to address personal challenges by seeking solutions in the rooms of 12 step recovery .
He had a strong sense of family love and loyalty, and enjoyed hanging out fishing at Fort De Soto, going to breakfast, long walks in the park, interacting with others about sports and with people who were like minded. He took great pleasure cooking for family and friends, especially during the
Christmas holidays. He is survived by his parents Laurie and Weldon, brother Robert, grandparents
Derelle and Robert Martin, Aunts Sally Youngman, Janet Monolias, Debbie Ford, and Uncle Tom Burgett as well as several cousins and extended family and friends that loved him dearly.
