David was a devoted father, grandfather, husband, and family-man. He worked for much of his life as a master electrician to provide a good life for his family. He enjoyed racing his muscle cars down the dirt roads surrounded by orange groves, fixing up/building classic vehicles, NASCAR racing, teaching his son and granddaughter how to use tools, and spending quality time with his family.

Whenever he walked into a room, it was filled with joy and everyone regaled with countless stories of his adventurous life. He was the type to give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need, especially family and friends.

He was a simple man with a great upbringing and a mostly joyous life. For those that had the pleasure of having him in your lives, we ask that you look back on the special moments you had with him with fondness and happiness.

David Sr. is survived by his granddaughter Paige Munro, grandson in-law Edward Munro, along with one brother, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, great great-nieces, and great great-nephews.

Services for David, his wife Kathleen Marie Bowen and their son David Wayne Bowen, Jr. will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory, 1400 Matthew Paris Boulevard, Ocoee, FL 34761.
