The life of our father, husband, and brother, David Robert Boardman, ended quietly on January 5, 2014. David was born in Keene, New Hampshire on July 27, 1944. He was raised in both Hillsboro and Keene, New Hampshire within a loving family of five. Following high school graduation, he attended university in Oklahoma but was drafted into the US Military during that period of time and served our Country in the US Army. His career life was spent within the automobile management area: a career that at times was almost a hobby as he always loved automobiles and racing. Most importantly in his life was his family and marriage of close to 48 years. He leaves behind his wife, Sue Skinner Boardman, a daughter Shauntel Louise, of Tampa, Florida, a son Damon DeWitt, of Brooklyn, New York, his sister Barbara Crossman, of Midlothian, Virginia, a brother, John Boardman of Keene, New Hampshire, and an extended family of both his and Sue's. He was a warm and gentle man who offered kindness and acceptance to all whom he met. David, you will be deeply missed.
