Obituary

David "Lil D" Anthony Vargas Acker, 16, of Orlando, FL, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2024. He was born on September 9, 2007, at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando, FL, to David Vargas and Veronica Acker. David is survived by his loving parents, David Vargas and Veronica Acker; his brothers, Jimmy Vargas, Jonathan Vargas, and Matthew Vargas; his sisters, Adrianna Acker and Alexandra Vargas; and his grandmothers, Migdalia Pagan and Margaret Acker, all of Orlando, FL. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. David attended Forsyth Woods and Cypress Springs Elementary, Legacy Middle, and University and Timber Creek High Schools. He was set to graduate in the coming school year alongside his 17-year-old sister, Adrianna. David was known for his intelligence and had a bright future ahead. David was the light of his family, known for his warm smile and contagious laugh. He had many ambitions and goals, including becoming an Ironworker alongside his father and brother, and eventually starting a family business as a General Contractor. David cherished playing basketball with his siblings, creating countless joyful memories on the court. As a child, he possessed a remarkable talent for singing, captivating everyone with his voice. As he grew older, his love for music evolved, leading him to write his own lyrics with hopes of one day making it in the music industry. David had an impeccable sense of style and was always the most fashionable one whenever he stepped out the door. He will forever be remembered as our beloved "papi chulo." David's sudden departure has left an immense void in the hearts of his family and friends. The depth of this wound is immeasurable; his absence has left his loved ones shattered and grieving profoundly. His presence brought joy, and his memory will be cherished forever.
