On the afternoon of December 29th, 2022, Darrelle "Dodie" Joan Riggs passed away peacefully at 81 years old in Apopka, Florida surrounded by family. Dodie was in the hospitality business for 60+ years. She enjoyed playing bingo with her good luck charms set up and a good sale from the grocery stores to clothing stores, but her favorite thing to do was be surrounded by family and friends. Whether it was lending a helping hand, clothes on your back or needing a lunch partner, especially if it was Chinese, she was your girl.

Dodie is preceded by her son, Walter Scott Brumbaugh, and her mother, Jane Blake. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Blankenship, and her children Penny Cochran, Chuck Brumbaugh, and Leslie "Mickey" Riggs. Along with daughters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held 12p-2p on January 15th at The Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, 411 Mercy Drive, Orlando, FL 32805.

In lieu of flowers, a donation box will be at the service and/or donate to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
