Ted Khargie was born to Ree and the Late Archibald Khargie on September 25,1969, in
Berbice, Guyana. Ted migrated to the United States when he was 4 years old. He lived
in Windsor, Connecticut for about 14 years, where he went to school and spent most of
his childhood and teenage years.
Ted relocated to Orlando, FL with his parents and other siblings in 1986. He was a
loving, kind, and easy-going person. He lived a simple and contented life and always
made everyone around him feel happy with his funny sense of humor.
Ted is survived by his beloved wife Sara (Samantha) beloved mother Reawatie (Ree)
Khargie, two children, Christine, and Jay, (5 sisters), Ann (Buddy), Pam (Mel), Sandra,
Nesha, and Rita (John), (2 brothers) Glen (Petra) and the Late Presley. His seventeen
wonderful and loving nieces and nephews, Stephen (Dana), April, Seema, Zarina, PJ
Singh (Shalini), Michael, PJ Brooks (Shane), Deidra, AJ, Bianca, Chantel (Amariah), CJ
(Sarah), Ryan, Nicholas, Zachary, Surina and Sarita. He has three great-nieces, Aarya,
Mila, and Saniya, five great-nephews, Xavier, Jayden, Mikhail, Taj, and Ezra.
Ted is survived by several brother-in-law, sister-in-law and many uncles, aunts, and
cousins.
Among his precious were his pets, Rocky and Starlite.
He loves music, especially rock, pop, light rock, some of his favorite bands are Eagles,
Foreigner, Journey, and many others.
Ted learned to play the electric guitar in his teenage years and talked about forming a
band, but unfortunately that part of his dream was not fulfilled. He had an artistic ability
of drawing and writing, but music was number one. Ted also enjoyed watching sports,
especially Football (Denver Broncos), and fishing.
We love and will miss him very much. Rest in Peace, Tedo!
