Darlene Hernandez, age 86, passed away peacefully in hospice care in Altamonte Springs, Florida surrounded by her family on January 2,2025 after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

Darlene was born on June 14th, 1938, in Hillsboro, New Hampshire to Archie Cote and Lucille Hunt.

She is survived by her daughter Lorraine and son in law Miguel her son Charles and daughter in law Cheryl as well as 5 Grandchildren: Lorenzo, Daniela, Carlos, Joseph and Miguel Jr. Darlene also leaves behind 8 great grandchildren: Carlos, Lucas, Sophia, Noah, Ava, Emma, Joseph and Benjamin.

She is further survived by her brother-in-law Robert May, sister-in-law Brenda Edmondson, brother-in-law Ruben Toledo and several nieces and nephews.

Darlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Carlos Hernandez who passed before her in 2019.

A celebration of Life will be held at her residence in Winter Springs, Florida on January 18th, 2025, at 1 pm

Darlene's strength, kindness and unwavering spirit will be remembered always, and she will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
