Daniel P. Shutter, 79, of Pinellas Park, Florida, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on October 1, 1946, Daniel was a hardworking man and a darn good carpenter who took pride in everything he built. He loved dirt track racing, raced cars himself, and was a true car enthusiast, especially when it came to Corvettes.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Noal Shutter, and his mother, Katherine Nigle Woods.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Stephanie Shutter; his children, Shannon Shutter (Kate), Casey Harrington (Kevin Reed), Brandon Shutter (Karla), Travis Collins (Sara), Michelle Freer, and Tricia Wells (Keith Clark); 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will all miss him dearly.

Daniel will be remembered for his hard work, his love of family, and his passion for racing and cars. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
