Daniel O. Hunter departed this life peacefully on December 11, 2017 in Ocoee, Florida at the age of 76. He was born on August 15, 1941 in Goshen, NY to the late John and Marie Courtock Hunter. He was one of seven children.
Daniel will be remembered as a wonderful and loving father who truly appreciated the precious gift of life. He grew up in Newburgh, NY and furthered his studies at Montclair State University, New Jersey earning his bachelor's degree.
He married the love of his life, Cheryl and together they raised a son.
Daniel retired from Nabisco as a Graphic Artist. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and cruising.
He leaves memories to be cherished to his children, Chuck Hunter and Patrick "Rob" Anderson; sister, Jeannie Longo; brother, John Hunter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He will be deeply missed, and forever in our hearts.
Daniel was predeceased by his beloved wife, Cheryl; siblings, Wilma Anzalone, Elsie McCord, Sally LePari and William Hunter.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 3PM-5:30PM on Sunday, December 17th at DeGusipe Funeral Home, West Orange Chapel in Ocoee, FL with a Service of Remembrance to begin at 5:30PM.
