On Monday, September 2, 2024, Daniel Murray Dible, beloved husband, father and Pap-pa, went to be with the Lord. Dan was born in Carey, Ohio, on January 25, 1936, to Joseph and Anna Margaret (Pipes) Dible. On May 26, 1956, he married the love of his life, Kay Coon. They raised two daughters and two sons. Dan was faithfully devoted to his precious wife of 65 years, always seeking to please his "Katie Lou".
Dan loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and enjoyed serving in the Finance ministry at Starkey Road Baptist Church. Dan was a generous and welcoming soul, and relished having audiences to whom he could tell a great story. Those who knew Dan were humored by his quick wit. He was a person who lit up a room when he entered and could strike up a conversation with anyone there. Excelling in his career, Dan started his own business as a Contractor, eventually moving into Corporate Management. Dan was a jack of all trades and displayed a lifelong passion for woodworking. He was well known for using his many skills to minister to others.
Dan was preceded in death by his father Joseph, mother Anna Margaret, sister Emily Kay, brother Joseph, sisters Laurell and Judy, his loving wife Kay and daughter Laura. Dan is survived by sister Ann, sons Dan and Edward (Michele), daughter Kathryn (Rick) Van Horn, grandchildren David Van Horn, Brian Goad, Nathan Van Horn, Jonathon Goad, Elizabeth Rourke, Emily Tacoma, Lauran Carmichael, Kathryn Nyathi, Benjamin Dible, Anna McGlone, Anna Van Horn, Margaret Lentz, Dallas Dible and 22 great grandchildren.
