We are here to celebrate the life of Damon Craig Roberson. Born to the late Ernest and Kaye Roberson on April 5, 1961. Damon is survived by his wife Delia, daughter Danielle, brother Kenneth, In-laws Dr. and Mrs. Levester Tubbs, Sister/brother in law Tiffany and Willie Allen, special cousin Krystal Ross, niece Anissa Roberson, nephew Bradlee Allen and a host of extremely loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Damon, also known as Redd or Dr. Mixx to his loving friends, spent his early years in Philadelphia, PA and then moved to Atlanta, GA to reside with his late Aunt Nancy and Uncle Paul Day who treated him just like a son. Living there, he gained a very special bond with his cousin Krissie whom he loved like a sister! Damon thrived in Atlanta and along with Krissie he became an active member of the Neighborhood Spiritual Teens Ensemble.

Damon was a graduate of Booker T Washington High School class of 1979 where he was a strong advocate for the ROTC. He attended Massey Business College and was an active member of an independent social organization called Hound Phi Hound.
Damon was inducted into the Masons King Solomon Lodge in the 90's. Damon truly believed in the Lord, and his last church home was Allen Chapel AME in Sanford, FL.

Being the grandson of the legendary Piano Red, Damon's passionate ear for music was indeed hereditary. He became an exceptionally talented DJ spinning and jamming wherever he could in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Houston and here in Florida. After a massive stroke in 2008 he discovered a new way to explore and share his talents. He became one of the most active members in The Jazz and R&B Cafe and Slow Jammz Facebook Groups.
