DAMIANO ANGELO PATRIARCA, a/k/a DOM PATRIARCA, 78, died on Monday, August 12, 2019, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, following a history of illnesses.
Dom leaves his wife of 56 years, Rosemarie Patriarca, son Robert, 53, son Richard, 42 and a daughter, Debra Kelley, 38, as well as five grandchildren, Robbie Jr., Gracie, Richie, Shane and Tyler.
He was born in New York City on October 22, 1940 (one of eight children) to Joseph and Angela Patriarca, and resided in The Bronx, New York until 1988 when he moved his family to Longwood, Florida.
He also leaves behind a sister Preziosa (a/k/a Dorothy) Sebastian, and a sister Anna Hofmann, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He served his country as an MP in the United States Army from 1961-1963 in Nuremberg, Germany, and later worked for the United States Postal Service both in Queens, New York, and Sanford, Florida, until his retirement.
A Memorial Service will be held at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory at 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, Florida on Saturday, August 31, 2019, from 2 p.m.to 4 p.m..
