Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Ann Jennison, who left us peacefully on July 18, 2026, at the age of 77. Cynthia’s life was one woven with kindness, generosity, and a vibrant love that radiated through all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on April 11, 1949 in Britton South Dakota to Eugene & LaVonne Stocking, Cynthia was a beacon of compassion and warmth from her earliest days. Her smile could light up any room, and her gentle spirit brought comfort to many. Over the years, Cynthia’s life touched the hearts of her family, friends, and community, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift.

Cynthia leaves behind her beloved husband, Kim Jennison, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership. Their union was a testament to enduring commitment and care, a sanctuary for family and friends alike. She was a devoted mother to Andrew Jennison and Megan Jennison, each of whom witnessed firsthand the grace, wisdom, and strength that Cynthia brought into every aspect of her role as a parent. Her guidance and encouragement have shaped them profoundly, fostering in them the same values she held dear.

Cherished among her greatest joys were her granddaughters, known affectionately as Nana to Kaitlyn Erb and Kylie Erb. Cynthia’s boundless affection and playful spirit created memories with her granddaughters that will forever warm their hearts. Her pride in their achievements and delight in their company painted a portrait of a grandmother who reveled in the small wonders of their lives.

Cynthia is also fondly remembered by her sister, Becky Brown, and her brother, Tom Stocking. The bonds she shared with her siblings were steadfast, full of shared laughter, mutual support, and treasured traditions that endured across the years.

Throughout life’s journey, Cynthia’s unwavering devotion to her loved ones defined her existence. Her presence was a gift to all who knew her—a steady, nurturing force who celebrated triumphs, comforted sorrow, and always made room at her table for one more.

To honor Cynthia Ann Jennison’s remarkable life, a Celebration of Life will be held on August 22, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Maitland Chapel, 9001 Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751. A Prayer Service will be observed at the chapel from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m., followed by a reception from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the same location. All whose lives were touched by Cynthia are welcome to join in remembering her generous spirit and sharing the love she so freely gave.

Though Cynthia has departed from our sight and has joined her parents Gene & LaVonne, the imprint she has left on our hearts and memories will remain, guiding us with her legacy of warmth, love, and compassion. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
