Courtney Lin Spoon Sievers Age 44
Courtney Lin Sievers passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at home with her family and friends.
Courtney was born in Silver Springs, Maryland on June 20, 1972 and lived in Gaithersburg, Maryland until her family moved to Florida in January of 1976. She attended Wekiva Elementary and Sabal Point Elementary, Teague Middle and Lake Brantley High School. At Lake Brantley she was active on the dance team for all four years. She attended The Church of the Holy Spirit Episcopal in Apopka and was an acolyte for 10 years.
Courtney is survived by her daughter, Amanda Sievers (Sanford, FL); her son, Garrett Browning (Sanford, FL); her mother, Dale Spoon (Sanford, FL); father, Larry Spoon (Sanford, FL); brother, Brian Spoon(Traci LaMotta) of Winter Park, FL; her aunts, Cathe Osborn (Jim) of Eustis, FL and Linda Spoon of New Smyrna; her uncles, Lee Courtney (Shelia) of Gulf Breeze, FL; Wayne Spoon (Marie) of Apopka, FL; and her cousin, Terri Lee Spoon (Michael Hawley) of Winter Park, FL.
Since 2010 Courtney fought a courageous battle against cancer. She was loved and will be missed by her family and many friends. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend.
A celebration of her life will be held at The Church of the Holy Spirit Episcopal 601 S Highland Ave, Apopka, FL 32703 on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
