Corey Jameison Allicock, 28 of Casselberry, Florida passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015. Mr. Allicock was born January 27, 1987 in Winter Park, Florida to Allan and Judith Allicock.
Corey Jameison Allicock was born on January 27, 1987. As a child he was gregarious and loving, traits that would define him throughout his life. Music was as an essential part of Corey as was his bright smile and consistently optimistic perspective. From when he was a child performing in piano recitals and impressing audiences to being an adult and jamming out to punk, hip hop and a myriad of other genres. Corey was pure joy. He took the greatest glee in the simplest of activities. Be it picking out ice cream or entertaining his countless friends; Corey delighted in all of it.
Probably the most famous Corey Story is his 25th birthday. On the spur of the moment, Corey decided to throw a party that turned into THE party. He invited a band and upwards of 30 people. This number quickly ballooned and soon they were charging people to enter the event. There was Corey in the midst of it all. Dancing, laughing and celebrating with close friends and complete strangers. What started out as a simple birthday in the middle of nowhere became the party of a lifetime with over 500 people in attendance.
Corey had fun around the clock. Whether he was at work or at home. He enjoyed skateboarding, which he would do either to and from work or just around his neighborhood. He played video games, wrote and read. At work, he was a technical support agent for Apple, he assisted customers with their various issues. Sometimes, his outgoing and friendly demeanor would turn these business interactions into long lasting friendships. Corey took everyone at face value and trusted people simply because he believed in them.
Corey Allicock always strived to see the positive side. He believed in learning from the bad times and appreciating the good times. He believed there was nothing you couldn't achieve with a positive mental attitude. He was always at the ready with a smile, a kind word, his familiar giggle and a good time. He loved indiscriminately and with his whole being. Those of us fortunate enough to know him will never forget him. Corey is survived by: Father: Allan Allicock, Mother: Judith Allicock. Siblings: Greg, Glenn, Warren, Craig, Mia. Uncles: Albert, Ivan, Patrick, Hillary, Carlos, Egbert, George,Prescott, Joseph and all their families.
