Clifford Paslay, 85, of Winter Park, FL peacefully went to be with the Lord on the morning of Saturday, September 14, 2019 in Advent Health Orlando, Florida Hospital.

Cliff was born in Decatur Illinois on November 6, 1933 to Elvin and Lura Paslay. He graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in 1951. He was employed with Caterpillar Tractor Co. as Data Processing Manager, taught the first data processing class at the Adult Education night school in Decatur and in 1967 in Downey, California he was on the team that wrote the computer language for IBM which would be used on the first space shuttle. He was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Decatur.

In 1970 he moved his family to Winter Park, Florida where he was employed by Martin Marietta Corporation. He was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God church in Winter Park, Fl. and was the Area Director for the Christian Broadcasting Network for the 700 Club.

His passions were his family (near and far), loving and serving God, coffee, computer programing, all things high tech, photography, hot sauces and the St. Louis Cardinals.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years; Sandra of Winter Park, FL, sons John (Donna) Paslay of Casselberry, Fl. and Michael (Emily) Paslay of Cumberland, Oh., daughters Susan Paslay of Winter Park, Fl. and Shelley (Steve Zaslav) Paslay of Greensboro, NC, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother, one sister-in-law, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
