Obituary

Clement A. DiOrio, 77, passed away after a long illness on April 7, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospice, Tavares, FL.

Clem was born in Elizabeth, NJ to the late James and Julia (Moscaritolo) DiOrio. He graduated from Blessed Sacrament Grammar School and Sacred Heart High School. Clem and Mary Ann lived in Elizabeth for many years, moved to Brick, NJ and lived there for more than 20 years. They then moved to Leesburg, FL in 2017.

Clem had been an avid bowler and softball player in his younger years. He worked at RCA in Harrison, NJ and Alcan Building Products in Woodbridge, NJ. For more than 20 years he was a Court Clerk working for the New Jersey Superior Court system in Elizabeth, NJ. He married Mary Ann (Marron) in 1967 and they enjoyed 54 years of marriage. Clem also coached Little League Baseball and Basketball for Blessed Sacrament Grammar School.

Clem is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann; his beloved son James (Lisa); his grandson Justin DiOrio, granddaughters Victoria Jankowsky and Julianna DiOrio, great grandson Aiden DiOrio, and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Annunciation Catholic Church, Altamonte Springs FL. Cremation will follow at DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, Maitland, FL.
