Obituary

Clarence F. Bowman, 84, of Altamonte Springs, FL, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026. Clarence was born on March 9, 1941, in Frederick, Maryland. He was the son of John Bowman and Eleanor Morgan.

On December 29, 1960, Clarence married the love of his life, Lois Borum, in Washington, D.C. Clarence was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins and also a big racing fan. He had a den dedicated to his love of sports. He was a hard worker and worked his entire life until retiring in 2021. He always made sure to take care of his family. The house was always filled with friends and family on any given day.

One of his hobbies was shopping. He loved going out and finding new and exciting things and pestering Lois with all the toys he would buy. He had many stories to tell about his long life and was always trying to help teach and guide the generations that came after him.

Clarence was predeceased by his parents and his siblings: Joe Bowman, Dave Bowman, Charlie Bowman, Tommy Bowman, Maynard Bowman, Mary Ausherman, Mable McCombs, Rachel Horstkamp, Jimmy Bowman, and Jack Bowman. Clarence was the youngest of ten siblings. Also his wife Lois Bowman.

Surviving are his daughters, Deanna Allen; Teresa and her husband, Woodrow Stanaland; Susan and her husband, Alan Aden; his sons, Louie Bowman and Clarence Jr. and his wife, Lisa Bowman; his nine grandchildren, Lee Bowman (Cori), Megan Allen (Anthony), Cody Stanaland (Sarah), Christina Allen, Colton Aden (Shellie), Amber Bowman (Arielle), Cory Stanaland, Timothy, and Samantha (Leroy); as well as 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Clarence "The old man" will be deeply missed.
