Claire "Betty" Clegg, 92, of Longwood, Florida died peacefully at her home on November 19, 2015 with both of her daughters, Barbara Clegg and Gloria Stratford by her side.

Betty was completely dedicated to her family and friends. She was a loving wife, and an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a wonderful friend to so many who greatly benefited from her wisdom and caring. Betty was an accomplished pianist, a linguist who spoke and taught seven languages, and an excellent writer. Betty touched the lives of so many and will be truly missed.
