Christopher L. Brown "Doc Brown" was 70, passed away suddenly at home on July 17th, 2024. He was a resident of St. Petersburg, attending St. Petersburg High School, class of 1972. He served in the Navy as a corpsman assigned to the Marines in Vietnam. After his enlistment he became a Respiratory Therapist and worked in St. Petersburg for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Granville and Rachael Brown. He is survived by his sister Kathy and her husband, Tom; sister-in-law, Mary and niece, Beate; cousins, Helen, Janet and Chip. He is also survived by his stepsons, Christopher and John; his former wife and friend Suzanne. He leaves behind so many friends who will miss him greatly including his Trivia team, "Think 2 Much" which he was a member of for decades. He was an avid cyclist, reader, and a great chef. Chris was one of the funniest, smartest and most caring people you could hope to meet. He spent his life in service to others while asking nothing in return. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. A committal service will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 1:30 PM.
