Obituary

Christine K. Singleton, age 54, of Belle Isle, Florida passed away on Christmas Day 2024 from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome after a heroic 16-year struggle with its debilitating symptoms.

She was born in West Palm Beach, Florida to Peter R. Sushinsky and Charlotte R. (Adams) Doran. Christine attended Palm Beach Gardens High School and earned her associate's degree in interior design at Valencia Community College in Orlando. Afterwards, she pursued careers in the interior design, restaurant, and personal training industries with much success.

Christine was known for her sweet disposition, her beauty, her intelligence but foremost her inherent virtue. She had a magnetic personality and people from all walks of life, oftentimes strangers, opened up to her in conversation. She had many friends. Her interests included horseback riding, foreign languages, birds, and fashion.

Christine is survived by her husband Christian and son Luke. She is also survived by her sister, Brooke Doran, her brother Marc Doran and their families.

A Funeral Mass in her honor will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church on January 11th , 2025, at 11 o'clock followed by a procession and interment at Mary Queen of the Angels Cemetery. Guests are invited to a reception in her honor at the Singleton family home (5007 Saint Denis Court, Belle Isle, FL 32812) on Lake Conway afterwards.
