Christine C. Burr, 65, of Longwood, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at South Seminole Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Chris was born on July 19, 1955 in Hartford, Connecticut, the eldest daughter of the late William and Marie (AuCoin) Casinghino, of Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
Chris retired from Travelers Insurance Company after a career spanning thirty plus years – from her start as a summer intern until her recent retirement as Claims Vice-president.
In her leisure time, Chris loved spending time with her family, reading, entertaining, and traveling throughout the U.S. and abroad with friends and family.
Chris is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ronald, daughters Lindsey Hair and her husband Kyle of Longwood, FL, Chelsea Burr, also of Longwood, and Courtney Burr, of DeBary FL; and her granddaughters Naia and Brenna Hair. She is also survived by her sisters: Sandra Casinghino and her wife Cheryl Udin of Bolton, CT, Lynn and her husband Wesley Clark of Granby, CT, and Ellen and her husband Victor Ramos of Bristol, CT, and by 6 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a niece, Emily.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, February 1, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 North Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL. Live-streaming will be available for those wanting to attend remotely - details below.
