Cheryl Elizabeth Meisel was born in Detroit, Michigan, on February 27, 1946, to Helen Joselyn and Leo Meisel. She attended University of Michigan and MacMurray College studying English and Journalism. She became a mother in Morristown, Tennessee, to her only child, Todd Nathan Meisel. She worked as an Orthodontic Assistant for most of her adult life. She loved her job especially working with people. She loved to joke around and was was always smiling, but was also a good listener and had a way of making people feel comfortable and special. She was an amazing Mother and was always there for her son, providing guidance, support, values, and unconditional love. She had the biggest heart and kindest soul, and you could see it immediately upon meeting her. She also had a special place in her heart for animals and wanted to volunteer at a shelter or rescue, or foster, or adopt, when she retired from her career. Her health unfortunately did not permit for this. Not enough kind words can ever be said about this amazing woman, Mother, and friend. The sun will never shine as bright without her in this world, but her presence will certainly be felt by those who knew her, and her memory will live on. Her mortal suffering has come to an end, but her eternal life and legacy is just beginning. I love and miss you dearly on this earth Mom, but I know you are with me, and we will be together again.
