In Loving Memory of Cheryl Leone Forte

Cheryl Leone Forte, a beloved wife, mother and Nani, was welcomed home to the Lord on May 6, 2025, at the age of 76. She leaves behind a family who adored her and a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was raised in Howard Beach, Queens surrounded by her many cousins and family. She attended John Adams High School where she formed lifelong friendships and met her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Louis.

They married on December 16, 1967, and shared 57 wonderful, beautiful years of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, love, and travel.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother to Charise, and a cherished mother-in-law to Jim, and a proud and adoring Nani to Matthew and Sophia. Her home was filled with faith, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Her strong faith guided her through the journey of life. She had a love of travel and cherished creating memories with her friends and family.

We will miss her dearly-her humor, her hugs, her stories, her love. She will forever hold a place in our hearts.

A Mass will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Rd, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 on Thursday, May 22 at 2:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:30-8:30pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751.

A light dinner will be served.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to donate in her name to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
