Charlotte Ann Thompson, 76 of Casselberry passed away on March 15, 2020. Charlotte was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on March 28, 1943 to Walter Sr. and Frances (Hooper) Thompson.
Charlotte was a fighter and courageously fought Multiple Sclerosis for 40+ years. Charlotte was passionate about her politics, her British television shows, books and media of all types, her small family and friends she had for decades.
An accomplished psychologist with the State of Georgia. She counseled with the upmost compassion to her numerous clients until she had to stop work due to her illness. She was a graduate of Florida State University earning both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Social Work. She received multiple awards including Georgia Governor's Special Council on Family Planning.
Charlotte was deeply committed to her Christian faith and found solace and friendship with her Jehovah Witness congregation. Always generous to a fault; giving when there was little to give, she remained true to her faith.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, David A. Thompson and Richard E. Thompson. She is survived by two sisters, Katherine (Alan) Halperin and Janice (Jimmy) Hinton, brother Walter Jr. (Anne) Thompson, niece Jennifer Carter, great nephew Dylan Ashby, and multiple nieces and nephews in Atlanta and Colorado Springs.
We all miss Charlotte, her life remains a blessing to all who knew her and loved her dearly. The family of Charlotte A.
