Charles J. Schuler,93 of Madeira Beach, passed away on Jan. 6, 2016. He was born & raised in Hamilton, OH, and worked for the B&O RR for 40 years. He retired in 1984 and moved to this area in 1990. He was a member and usher at St. John Vianney Church in St. Pete Beach. He served in the US Navy in the North Atlantic during WWII, and continued to serve his fellow vets as a volunteer at the Bay Pines VA Hospital for 22 years. He is predeceased in death by his son, Chuck, and wives, Ruth & Marge, as well as by his brother, Paul, and sister, Mary. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Williams (NE), son Tim (Safety Harbor), daughter Ruth Ann Williamson (TX), and step-children Ed Greene (CN), Carol McCormick (GA), Margy Barrett (TX), and Bob Greene (CO), and 23 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Visitation will be at the R. Lee Williams & Son FH, from 5-7PM on Jan. 22, 2016, with memories shared at 6:30pm, and a funeral mass the next day at St. John Vianney Church in St. Pete Beach at 11:30 am. Entombment will be at the Crest Lawn Cemetery in Baltimore, MD, on Jan. 26, 2016.
