Charles E. Nelson's Obituary
Charles Edward Nelson, of Longwood, FL, went to his heavenly home on March 12, 2026.
He was born on August 17, 1934, in Huntsville, AL. He attended Vanderbilt University and Harvard Business School, later working as a Certified Public Accountant in the Tampa Bay area. Charlie married Sharron (nee Heim) in 1962. He and his family relocated to the Orlando area in 1972, where he was very involved with his family, church and the community.
He is survived by his wife, Sharron; their two children, Barry (Carol), and Karen, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held April 18, 2026, at 11am, at Grace Church Lake Mary, 499 N Country Club Road, Lake Mary, FL 32746.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Grace Church Lake Mary.
