Charles Marvin Kested, 95, of St. Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Born on April 2, 1929, in Fonda, New York, Mr. Kested was a dedicated Industrial Arts Teacher, where he found joy in teaching woodshop and mechanical drawing.
Mr. Kested is preceded in death by his parents, Manning Kested and Genevieve Sager Kested and his brother, Manning Kested, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Kested; daughter and son in law, Joy and Timothy Oare; grandsons, Jared and Derek Oare and great granddaughter, Lily Smith.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Starkey Road Baptist Church, 8800 Starkey Rd., Seminole, Florida 33777.
