Charles Edward Smith, 84, of Geneva, Fl, passed away on March 29th at Hopsice of the Comforter, Altamonte Springs, Fl.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday April 2nd at DeGuispe Funeral Home in Sanford, Fl.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday April 3rd at DeGuispe Funeral Home, Sanford, Fl, with the Pastor Richard Huchingson, officiating. Burial will follow at Geneva Cemetery.

Charles was born in Houston County, AL, to Lester and Nell Smith on February 17th, 1934. He married Charlotte May Huchingson on July 31st, 1954 in Eustis, Fl. He worked as an Electrician for FPL. He was a veteran and served in the Army. Charles enjoyed fishing, gardening, and most of all, spending time with his family.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Nell Smith, and three children Cindy Butcher, David Smith, and Robert Smith.

Charles is survived by wife Charlotte Smith, children Daniel (Mary) Smith, Pennie Smith, brother Jimmy (Geneva) Smith, and sister Liz (Glenn) Jordan, his grandchildren Andrew, Kristin, Ben, Charlie, Caroline, Randy, Kimberly, Sarah and his great grandchildren Jasmine, Brooke, Emily, Brysen, and Taylor.
