Charles T. Bush II "Chip", 85 passed away September 26,2025 of Parkinson's at Advent Health Hospice in Altamonte Springs, FL with his family by his side.
Chip was born in Detroit, MI to Arthur Stansell Bush & Lilian Dohany Bush, both now deceased. He grew up in Grosse Pointe, MI & graduated from Austin High School in 1958. He attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated in 1962 with his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He went to the U.S. Navel Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI and served 4 years. He worked for Manufacturer's National Bank in Detroit. In 1975 he moved to Florida where he began his career in Financial Services, beginning with the Prudential Insurance Company and ending with f4 Wealth Advisors.
Chip married Nancy Ann Monaghan in 1973 and were married 16 years before her untimely death of cancer. They had 2 children Mary and Sarah. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Christine, daughters Mary and Sarah (Brandon Purdum) and grandsons Jacob and Oliver, his sisters Mary Duncan and Julie Norris (James) and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving him are his step-children Heather Reichmann (Joshua), Andrew Mosher (Maria Gabriela), step-grandchildren Tyler (Taylor), Noah, Isaac, Juliet , and great-granddaughter Carson.
Chip was deeply loved by his family and friends. He had a very devout faith and was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church for 49 years.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church on October 15 at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 am, a reception will follow. The burial will be at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Emmett, Michigan on October 25 following a Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 10:30 am with visitation at 10:00 am.
