Charleen Claire (Moran) Nash, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, left us peacefully on November 20, 2025, at the age of 82 in her hometown of Longwood, Florida. She was born on October 31, 1943, in Oakland, California to Walter and Justine Moran. She grew up in Oakland and after high school, decided to pursue her passion for helping others at St. Joseph's College of Nursing in San Francisco earning her degree in 1964. She then began her career at San Franciso General Hospital. In the years that followed, she met her soul mate, Stephen Nash, in San Franciso through mutual friends. She and Stephen were blessed with two daughters and spent most of their years together on the east coast after moving from California in 1969.

Charleen was a source of love, kindness, and strength to all who knew her. She continued her passion caring for others as she worked as an oncology Nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando, Florida. During retirement Charleen and Stephen loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. They were also very active members of Annunciation Catholic Church offering their time, talent and treasure to many ministries over the years.

A longtime resident of Longwood, she was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Stephen Nash; brother Thomas Moran (Karen) of Brentwood, California, her children Susan Nash Ruedas (Bennett) and Carol Nash; nieces Kelley Moran Ruiz (Andres), Molly Moran Lindsey (Tone) and two grandchildren Sidney and Alexander Ruedas.

Although we miss her terribly, we know that her light has not gone out and that she is now at peace. Her spirit lives on in the way we all care for one another, in the traditions she began, and in the love that binds us all. Charleen's story is not one of loss, but of a life well lived with purpose, tenderness, and joy. We honor her by living as she did—with open hearts, gentle words, and a belief that love endures beyond time and memory.
