Champagauri (Champa)'s Obituary
Champagauri (Champa) Rasiklal Kalaria died unexpectedly on March 17, 2024 at 6:06am in Orlando, FL at the age of 75.
Champa is survived by her husband, Rasiklal, son, Rupesh, daughter-in-law, Pooja, grandsons, Rohan and Arjun, and brothers, Pravin, Bhupat, Rashik, Dhanvant, Himat, Chandrakant, and Prakash, along with her brothers' wives, children, and grandchildren.
Champa was born on September 20th, 1948 in Hoima, Uganda to Govindbhai and Otamben Patel. She married Rasiklal G. Kalaria in 1975 in Gondal, Gujarat, India. They moved to Norman, OK in 1982 where Champa began working for the restaurant, Misal of India, and later worked for the University of Oklahoma Housing and Food Services as a cook. After retiring, both Champa and Rasik moved to Orlando, FL in 2019, where after her favorite job was as a grandmother, playing with and taking care of her grandchildren.
A funeral is scheduled for March 21,2024 at 10:30am at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory at 9001 Orlando Ave. Maitland, FL 32751.
