Celia Ann Wood, born October 21, 1973 in Winter Park, Florida, entered into eternal life on March 2, 2018. She is celebrated in love by her son, James Berndt, mother, Sally Wood, sister, Sara Shibles, brother-in-law, Matt Shibles, nephews, Tim and Andrew Shibles, and her beloved cat Teenie. She joins her father, Cecil D. Wood in Heaven.

Celia was a graduate of Lyman High School and Seminole State College. She was employed at Crooms A.O.I.T. for 9 years and spent the last 6 years as the records and transcripts specialist at Rollins College. Celia enjoyed being a baseball mom, spending countless hours at the ballpark supporting her son James and his teammates.

An avid Tampa Bay Rays fan, she attended games when she could with friends. She also loved being involved in activities on the Rollins College Campus. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and colleagues.

A memorial Celebration at DeGusipe Funeral Home will begin at 6:30 PM and will be followed by a reception and gathering of family and friends at DeGusipe Funeral Home.
