Born on September 26, 1937, in Henry County, Virginia, Celeste brought joy and warmth into the world from the moment she arrived. Her infectious smile and gentle nature drew people to her, creating a tapestry of treasured relationships throughout her life. Whether she was tending to her family or offering a helping hand to those in need, Celeste's kindness and selflessness were unwavering.
Family was the cornerstone of Celeste's life. As a devoted mother, she poured her heart into raising her children, instilling in them the values of love, respect, and perseverance. Her dedication and unwavering support were a guiding light, ensuring her children had the tools to succeed in life. Celeste's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she embraced her role as a doting grandmother with immense joy. She relished every moment spent with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will forever be cherished.
Celeste's love for life was reflected in her passions and pursuits. A peaceful soul, she yearned to be on the water, she loved sailing as it brought her a sense of serenity and freedom. She found solace in nature, often admiring her ducks and butterflies and her view from her patio. Her love for reading the bible also knew no bounds, Additionally, Celeste had a spirited enthusiasm for the exhilarating world of NASCAR racing.
Celeste was a dedicated employee at a local CPA Firm for over 30 years.
Her warm and welcoming spirit made Celeste an integral part of her family. She tirelessly volunteered her time and resources, lending a helping hand wherever it was needed. Her acts of kindness touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered. Celeste's generosity and compassion knew no bounds, and she inspired those around her to embrace the power of giving.
As we bid farewell to Celeste Ramsey McPhilamy, we take solace in the memories she leaves behind. Her unwavering love, her gentle touch, and her sage advice will forever guide us on our journey through life. Celeste is survived by her devoted children John McPhilamy, Sean McPhilamy, Kevin McPhilamy, Joanne Brems, her beloved grandchildren John McPhilamy Jr., Celeste McPhilamy, Krystol Rochow, Sean McPhilamy Jr., Michael McPhilamy Sr., Blake McPhilamy, Rain McPhilamy, Emma McPhilamy, Alexandria Mignerey, and Jacob McPhilamy, and a multitude of family members and friends who were touched by her grace and love.
We find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with loved ones who have gone before her and that she rests in eternal peace.
A celebration of Celeste's life will be held at a later date when everyone in the family is ready. We invite all those whose lives were touched by her to join us in paying tribute to a remarkable woman who left an indelible mark on our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Celeste's honor to Suncoast Hospice Donor Foundation or St. Jude Children Research Hospital, a cause that was dear to her heart.
