Catherine M. (Pappas) Swift, 91, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Catherine was born on December 24, 1932, in Arensberg, PA the daughter of John and Mary (Martino) Pappas.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, David Swift in 2004, son David Swift and her siblings, Helen Pappas, Irene Dawson, Yvonne Christopher and Theodore Pappas.

Catherine is survived by her children; Deborah Swift of Uniontown, Joy Pappas of Smithfield, Mary Broyles and Vincent Babauta of Alabama, Karen Minor and husband Derek of Uniontown, John Swift of Uniontown and Christine Swift of Lemont Furnace; 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandson, Waylon, brother George Pappas and wife Dorothy of Easton, PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will be received in the DEGUSIPE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 65 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 18th till 9:15 AM at which time Prayers of Transfer will be held in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA with Rev. Teodoro Cortezano as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.

A parish vigil prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 3:30 PM.
