Catherine Ruvel, 93, of Lake Mary, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018. Born July 27, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Matteo and Rose LiCausi. On February 27, 1949 she was married to her husband of 69 years, Paul G. Ruvel.

Surviving, besides her husband, are her children, Robert Ruvel, Richard Ruvel and Karen Cunningham, her grandchildren, Alyson Ruvel, Kaitlyn Ruvel, Jaclyn Cunningham, Colleen Cunningham and Bill Cunningham, and her great grandsons, Jesse Koonz and Bradley Koonz. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

A funeral mass will be held on July 30, 2018 at 9:30 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The family is planning the burial at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida.
