Catherine Mary Ioffredo (DiMarco), passed away on October 23rd after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Carlo Ioffredo.

Catherine was born on March 20, 1931 in New York City, the daughter of
Antonina and Vito DiMarco. She was the youngest of six children, all of whom predeceased her. She graduated from Jamaica High School in Jamaica, NY, and the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She served as secretary for Italwine Import Co., founded by her husband, but her primary vocation was as wife and mother to her large family. They relocated to Winter Park from NY in 1970. Catherine was a devout Catholic and communicant of St. Margaret Mary Church in Winter Park. She imparted the gift of faith to her family, as well as her talents in writing, music, and art. Prior to her illness she spent the summer months in Winchester, MA and enjoyed traveling.

She leaves her devoted daughters Liana Pacilli and her husband Fred of Winter Park, and Andria Morenzi and her husband Nick of Jamestown, RI, as well as her sons Carlo and his wife Liz of Bedford, MA, Alan and his wife Cathy of Somerville, MA, and Glen of Winter Park. She was predeceased by her son Carlo Michael. In addition, she leaves 12 grandchildren, Juliana and Andrew Potter, and his wife Eve, Salvatore and Caterina Morenzi, and Nicholas, Stephanie, Michael, Anya, Anthony, John, Mark and Lily Ioffredo.

She will be dearly missed as a loving mother, "Nonna", and Aunt Kay to many loving nieces and nephews, whose home provided warmth, love, and delicious home cooked meals.

Her family members wish to express their gratitude to the expert and loving hands that provided her care for the past several years at Lifecare of Orlando.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 29th at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 526 N. Park Ave., Winter Park. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N.
