Carolyn Ruth Whelen, 78, of Lake Mary, FL passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019. She was born June 1940 in Covington, KY to Thomas and Ruth.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Michelle; parents, and sisters: Joyce and Nancy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Ron; daughters: Linda Whelen and Deborah Nicol; sisters: Diana Doll, LeeAnn Gamm, Marlene Colson, and Janice Jaber; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Carolyn enjoyed traveling with her daughters and she loved her cat Bulie.
She was loved by all who met her and will be missed dearly.

There will be a visitation 9:30 am to 10:30 am Thursday, February 7, at DeGusipe Funeral Home 905 Laurel Ave. Sanford, FL 32771.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am Thursday, February 7, at All Souls Catholic Church – Historic Chapel Location 800 S. Oak Ave. Sanford, FL 32771.
