WEISS, Carolyn B (Carrie), formerly of St. Petersburg, passed away April 15, 2015 in Winter Park, Florida after a short illness.

Carrie was born in Cleveland, Ohio December 10, 1932 to Michael and Ethel (Wilson) Goldner. Raised in St. Petersburg, Carrie met and later married her high school sweetheart, Dr. Edward B. Weiss.

A graduate of University of Florida, Carrie chose to become a full-time mother after briefly working in journalism and television. In mid-life, she returned to school, obtaining a Masters Degree in counseling, and entered practice as a Christian Counselor at Our Savior Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg where she helped many people.

Carrie was a devoted wife and mother and a dedicated servant of Jesus. Her strong faith and her relationship with God eased her passage, which she likened to going to a party. A warm and friendly person, Carrie was well liked by all and she will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Carrie was predeceased by her husband, Edward Weiss, and is survived by her four children, Peter John Weiss, Eric Andrew Weiss, Paul Christopher Weiss, and Catherine Fay McDonald and their spouses and children.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 19th at Our Savior Lutheran Church with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
