Carolyn Mary Kuzma November 20, 1930 to January 6, 2023

Our dear Mother Carolyn Mary Kuzma, died peacefully in her home in Maitland, Florida on January 6, 2023. The daughter of Herbert & Corintha Jaeb, she was born November 20, 1930 in Albertville, MN.

Carolyn studied in North Dakota and received her degree in Nursing. Shortly after graduating she moved with her family to Florida. Eventually they all settled in Ft. Lauderdale, where she pursued her career as a RN at Broward General Hospital.

On April 20, 1953 she married Henry B. Kuzma. They enjoyed 50 years together while raising four children. Carolyn was a devoted wife and mother who was an instrumental part of each of our lives. She excelled at all the things she loved doing such as baking, cooking, sewing, and cake decorating. She always filled our home with warmth and kindness and welcomed everyone. Carolyn deeply cared for her family, friends and neighbors. She was the first person to offer help unconditionally.

In 1980, the family moved to Maitland, FL and she was once again reunited with her siblings. Devoted to God and her church, they joined the parish of St. Mary Magdalen which her mother and father had belonged to for years. She always enjoyed baking many delicious cakes for the yearly fall festival.

After retiring, Carolyn and Hank enjoyed traveling to see family and spending time with grandchildren. They also had many stories about traveling across the country with her sister and husband.

Rest in peace dear Mother, you will be missed and loved forever.

Children: Kathryn Cooper (James) Winston-Salem, NC; Steven Kuzma (Karen) Atlanta, GA; Cheryl Wright (Ward III) Winter Park, FL and Debra Emig (Christopher) Altamonte Springs, FL.

Grandchildren: whom she is lovingly referred to as "Ummie"; Ward Wright IV (Alison), Christian Cooper (Katie), Sarah Corrigan (Peter), Craig Wright (Melissa), Ryan Cooper (Jen), Corintha Story (Jeremy), Kelin Haulsee (Zach), Chelsea Starr (Ian), Taylor Kuzma, Michael and Sadie Llop.

Great grandchildren: Claire and Charlie Wright; Bailey Cooper; Wyatt, Adelaide (2015-2021) and Benjamin Corrigan; Matilda Wright; Riley Cooper; Hank and Cooper Story; Bowman, Raleigh and Mary Graylyn Haulsee; Elliott, Rhys and Evelyn Starr.

Siblings: Diane Doll (Edward), Audrey Knipe (Patrick) and David Jaeb (Judy)

A funeral mass with be held Tuesday, January 17th at 10:00am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Altamonte Springs, FL. Christian burial to follow at 1:30pm at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Reception gathering at her home at 4:00pm
