Carolyn Ayers Dent died peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at the age of 61. Carolyn is survived by her mother Hilda Ayers, her husband John Dent, her brother Christopher Ayers, her son David Michael Stanford, and Steve Stanford, former husband. She is preceded in death by her brother Greg Ayers and her father George Ayers.
Carolyn was born on December 12, 1955 in Winston Salem to George and Hilda (Boehm) Ayers. She married John Dent in 1995, and worked as an Arbitrator at the Orlando Auto Auction. She was a supporter of the 4H camp in Delhi, New York. Her son remembers her as a loving, tenacious mother, who was welcoming and kind to all. She loved helping others, and would go out of her way to assist those in need.
A viewing will be held at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Ocoee, Fl. She will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery on Thursday, June 29th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
